We are always making history.
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, this has become more apparent than ever. Not only are we witnessing profound social and structural change, but the ways in which we interpret and write about issues today will affect how future generations will look back on this moment.
This student-led exhibition explicitly partipates in the process of making history. It follows a number of single issues as they were reported in the media during the first months of the Covid-19 Pandemic. As we witness the unfolding of matters ranging from structural racism to climate change, we see how some narratives are privileged and others are silenced, and how past silences obscure contemporary problems.
