Eligibility for HistoryCorps
- Completion of three (3) upper division history classes by the start of the internship
- UCLA History Major or Minor
- Junior or Senior status (completed 90 or more units)
- Good academic standing: at least a 3.0 overall GPA
To gain credit for your internship, you will enroll in History 195, which requires you to:
- Attend regular meetings with the TA
- Complete weekly journal/writing assignments
- Submit a final research paper
- Log a minimum of 80 hours of work at an off-campus internship site
- Be able to commit about 12 hours per week to this internship experience!

Are you looking for a particular placement type? (for example museum/archive/K-12 school)
Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria: motivation and drive, curiosity, relevant experience (coursework or applied skills), communication and professionalism, fit for the program.
